Why Does a Reddit Profile Show No Posts?
If the profile shows karma but no posts or comments, the owner has hidden them from their profile page. The posts still exist and are still public in their subreddits, so they can be found by searching for the author. If the profile shows no karma either, the account is genuinely new or unused.

Why hidden posts are still visible elsewhere
Reddit lets users choose which of their posts and comments appear on their profile, including hiding all of them. The setting controls the profile page only. Each post and comment stays in its thread, readable by anyone, and stays in public archives. That is why a hidden profile is not the same as a private one, and why Reddit has no true private profile.
