Reddit Profile Viewer

Enter a Reddit username and see the account's public profile in one place. Karma split by type, account age, and the posts and comments the account has left across every subreddit.

A Reddit profile viewer is a tool that collects everything Reddit publishes about an account and shows it on one page. This one reads public Reddit data and public archives: total, post, comment and awardee karma, the account creation date, and public posts and comments. It cannot show private messages, votes, or anything Reddit keeps hidden.

What the profile viewer shows

How it works

  1. 1. Enter a username. Type the name, paste a u/ handle, or paste a full profile URL. The prefix and the URL wrapper are stripped automatically.
  2. 2. The account is resolved. Reddit's public profile endpoint returns karma, creation date and account flags, or nothing at all if the account cannot be reached.
  3. 3. Activity is gathered from several angles. Posts and comments are read across multiple sort orders, then combined with results from Reddit's search and a public archive. Different sources surface different gaps.
  4. 4. Results are merged. Duplicates are removed and everything is sorted, with the most active subreddits calculated from what came back.

When people use it

SituationWhat to look at
Checking whether an account is realAccount age and karma. A days-old account with no comment karma behaves very differently from a ten-year-old one.
Working out what someone posts aboutMost active subreddits, then the posts themselves.
Finding a comment you half rememberThe comment history, which keeps each comment's parent thread for context.
Reading your own public footprintEverything. This is what anyone else can see about your account.

What it cannot do

Everything here comes from data Reddit publishes openly. There is no way around the following, for this tool or any other.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Reddit profile viewer free?
Yes. You can look up profiles without an account. A free account raises your limit, and a one-time Lifetime Pro unlock removes it.
Does the person know I looked at their profile?
No. Reddit does not record or report profile views to anyone, so there is nothing for us or for them to see. Lookups here are not visible to the account you search.
Can it show a private Reddit profile?
No, and neither can anything else. Reddit has no private profile setting. A profile that appears hidden is usually suspended, shadowbanned or deleted, and none of those expose content to any tool.
Why are some old posts missing?
Reddit's own listings stop at roughly 1,000 items per sort order. We work around it by reading several sort orders and a public archive, which recovers a lot of older activity, but very old accounts can still have gaps.
Can I see someone's upvotes or downvotes?
No. Reddit made vote history private in 2017. Saved posts, hidden posts, subscribed subreddits and private messages are also owner-only and are never exposed publicly.
What happens if the username does not exist?
The lookup returns nothing. A username that has never existed, one that was deleted, and one that is shadowbanned all look the same from outside Reddit.
Does it work with a profile URL instead of a username?
Yes. Paste a full reddit.com/user/ link and the username is extracted automatically. The u/ prefix is optional.

Look up any Reddit account and see what its public profile reveals.
