Can You See Someone's Reddit History?

Yes. Every post and comment on Reddit is public unless it was deleted or made in a private subreddit, so anyone can see an account's history. That stays true when the person hides it from their profile: hiding only removes the list on the profile page, and the posts and comments can still be found by searching for the author.

Three ways to see someone's Reddit history

• Their profile page. Open reddit.com/user/name. Free and instant, but it shows only recent items, stops at roughly 1,000 per sort order, and shows nothing if the profile is hidden.
• Search by author. Reddit's author:name search and public archives find posts and comments without the profile page. More work by hand, and each source has its own gaps.

If they hid their Reddit history

What you cannot see

• Their private messages and chats.
• What they upvoted or downvoted, private since 2017.
• Their saved posts and subreddit subscriptions.
• Posts in private subreddits.
• Anything deleted before a public archive captured it. Deleted comments explained.

They also cannot tell that you looked. Reddit does not record or report profile views to anyone.
