Can You Find a Reddit User by Email?
No. Reddit never publishes the email address attached to an account, and offers no way to search for an account by email. This works in both directions: you cannot go from an email to a username, or from a username to an email.
Why not
An email address is account credential data, not profile data. Reddit exposes karma, creation date, posts and comments through its public interfaces. Email, real name, IP address and location are not part of that, so there is nothing for any tool to read.
Reddit also does not require an email to register, so many accounts have no email attached at all.
What you can search on instead
- The exact username. This is the only identifier Reddit indexes, and it is permanent.
- A handle reused across sites. Many people use the same name on Reddit as elsewhere, which is a starting point rather than a guarantee.
- Distinctive phrasing, through Google. A site:reddit.com search on a memorable sentence sometimes surfaces the account that wrote it.
If you have a name to try, a username check will confirm in seconds whether the account exists.
Search by username, the one identifier Reddit does expose.
